10G SFP+を12ポート、25G SFP28を2ポート備えたラックマウント型ルーターです。複数の10G回線を集約し、25Gの上位回線へ接続するネットワーク構成に適しています。冗長電源にも対応しています。
CPUは4コアのARM64（1.7GHz）、メモリはECC対応の4GBです。ルーティング性能は最大38Gbps（1518バイト）、IPフィルターを25ルール適用した場合でも14Gbpsです。arm64（Armv8-A）のコンテナに対応します。
CCR2004は、数百台規模の端末がつながるネットワークの通信を1台で処理できます。シングルコア性能が高く、BGPの経路処理のように1つのCPUコアに負荷が集中する処理も高速です。動作温度範囲は-20〜60℃と広く、2系統のAC電源入力で、片側の電源が止まっても動作を続けられます。
